Conference & Banqueting - Job Vacancies
Working in Conferences and Banqueting (C&B) department will typically a front line job. It will involve face-to-face and telephone liaison with Clients, booking functions and communicating with relevant hotel departments ie. Kitchen, Facilities and Accounts. The department is split into two divisions; operations and office. Both teams work closely alongside each other ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
To work in operations you will need to be energetic, practical, able to work on your own initiative and enjoy dealing with people.
To work in office you will need to be able to prioritise, multitask and have excellent communication skills. Working hours will always depend on business levels.
